My name is Doug Seubert, and I am a full time caregiver for my mother who has advanced Alzheimer’s disease. I decided to create this blog so that I can share my experience and provide tips, resources, and ideas to others who are caring for a loved one near the end of life. The title of this blog is not meant to be ironic, sarcastic, or even funny. But it does represent what I hope to do here: help caregivers and their families — as well as those they love and care for — to survive during the most difficult time in a person’s life. If you have any questions about anything you find on this website, please contact me. And if you have questions about caregiving, or if you have advice or ideas to share with others, please feel free to post comments.
